Announcing colorStudio: Accessible Color Design, Finally Done Right

Today we’re officially launching colorStudio – our new web app for building accessible color systems that actually fit real developer and designer workflows.

Instead of juggling separate tools for contrast checking, palette generation, gradients, and exports, colorStudio brings everything into a single, focused experience designed around accessibility‑first color work.

What you can do with colorStudio

  • Unified Color Generator
Switch between palette and gradient modes while keeping accessibility data in sync. No more copy‑pasting hex codes between tools.

  • Real‑time WCAG + APCA analysis
Every change you make is evaluated against WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA and APCA so you can see exactly where your system passes or fails – with clear labels instead of raw math.

  • “Fix My Contrast” workflows
Use guided fixes to repair failing pairs with minimal visual drift, preserving your design intent while hitting the right thresholds.

  • Production‑ready exports
Ship your work directly to Figma, CSS, Tailwind, and SVG, so your “perfect” palette doesn’t die in handoff.

Where to try it

  • colorStudio app: /products/weable-color/colorStudio on weable.pro
  • Full feature guide: colorstudio-comprehensive-guide in the weableColor blog
  • VS Code extension: weableColor VS Code extension on the Marketplace, for in‑editor workflows.

What’s next

This launch is Phase 1 of the colorStudio roadmap. Coming next:

  • Deeper integration with the VS Code extension and Figma
  • More robust APCA‑first workflows
  • Saved projects, sharing, and team‑ready collaboration features

If you ship interfaces where color and accessibility matter (and they always do), colorStudio is ready for you right now. Let us know what you build – and what you want us to add next.
