Our Story
weable was founded in April 2025 with a simple but powerful vision: to make accessibility sexy and accessible to every designer and developer. We recognized that while accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 AA were well-established, the tools to implement them were often clunky, confusing, or simply not integrated into modern design workflows.
Starting with weableColor, our flagship accessibility color tool, we set out to change this. We built a tool that doesn't just check contrast ratios - it helps designers understand why accessibility matters and how to implement it beautifully. Our dual-interface approach serves both technical developers and non-technical designers, making accessibility truly accessible to everyone.
Since our launch, we've helped over 114 designers and developers make their work more accessible, achieving a remarkable 122% conversion rate in just 10 days. Our commitment to both accessibility and usability has made us a trusted partner in the journey toward a more inclusive web.
